Engineering a better life with our smart ventilation solutions ebm-papst at Mostra Convengno Asia 2022
The Mostra Convegno Asia 2022 trade show will be held from September 6 to September 8 in Singapore. At Booth A-A06 in Hall A, ebm-papst will be presenting sustainable and intelligent solutions for the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation industries.
The largest and most efficient of its kind
One of ebm-papst‘s latest innovations is the new RadiPac series. ebm‑papst has succeeded in significantly improving existing centrifugal fans yet again: they operate with significantly higher efficiency levels and higher speeds ensure more airflow and higher pressures, meaning that even high-pressure applications can be covered. The impeller developed according to the latest aerodynamic findings drastically reduces flow losses and further decreases the noise levels.
For the first time, the new, most powerful Electronically Commutated (EC) motor, FanDrive DV280, is also used in the large RadiPac sizes. This delivers a torque of 180 Nm with an electrical power of up to 24 kW. For example, it is used in the size 800 RadiPac and enables a free-air air performance of up to 50,000 m3/h and maximum pressures of 2,300 Pa.
FanDrive DV280 can also be acquired on its own for applications with large air volumes. This offers users the flexibility of selecting their preferred impellers and fan casings while reaping the full benefits of ebm-papst’s highly efficient EC technology.
In addition, the AxiEco axial fan has been successfully established on the market for two years. The series has now been expanded to include sizes 630, 800 and 910. The axial fan now makes air flows of over 25,000 m³/h and pressures of up to 700 Pa possible and is suitable for applications in chillers and evaporators, industrial process cooling, data centres and mobile refrigeration technology, for example.
Better air, better life
Indoor air quality (IAQ) is a crucial factor in the health, well-being and productivity of people who spend time indoors. As an expert in air quality, ebm-papst offers a wide range of solutions for increasing air quality, directly and indirectly. Interconnected solutions, which include intelligent fans, IAQ sensors and IoT dashboards, will be featured on the ebm-papst booth.
Technical presentations on the latest technologies
Uwe Sigloch, the Head of Product Management at ebm-papst, will be presenting on several topics at the trade show. The first presentation will be on the larger AxiEco series and FanDrive DV280. The second presentation will be on the latest RadiPac series and its features, which include integrated 3-phase active PFC. The approach of the 3-phase active PFC fan technology from ebm-papst is to prevent current harmonics from occurring at all instead of filtering them out afterwards with additional components, which involves a lot of effort. The RadiPac series is also available without 3-phase active PFC.
